The latest 8.5.0.400 update with a number bug fixes and a few new functions is now available for download (Aquabase will check for an update on start-up) and will require a password to complete the update process. This password is included in an email to subscribers to the Aquabase Support and Development programme. If Aquabase cannot download the update automatically you can also get it from the Download section of this website. You have to be a registered user to access the individual downloads in this section.
Please read the notes during installation for the latest exciting additions and bug fixes! We (the developers and the users) are constantly working on improving and fixing Aquabase functionality. Please let me know if you find any bugs and/or would like to make suggestions for new functions.
WHAT’S NEW IN THIS LATEST VERSION?
- The Windows 32-bit version of Aquabase is no longer supported due deprecated external library support.
- The latest PROJ Version 9.1.1 has been derived from the OSeo4W installation for Windows 64 bit (Linux uses latest PROJ) and is installed under the Aquabase installation folder.
- On the Construction and Lithology Log Charts it is now possible to set a few date options for the depth-dependent charts so that specific down-the-hole logging data can be selected or all displayed with different line styles.
AND WHAT HAS BEEN FIXED?
- The time-dependent chemistry report did not space the parameters correctly, which is dependent on graphics resolution. The calculation of available space has been reworked to provide a better space distribution for selected parameters.
- A few minor bugs have also been addressed.
