The latest 9.1.5.416 update with a few bug fixes and some new functions is now available for download (Aquabase will check for an update on start-up) and will require a password to complete the update process. This password is included in an email to subscribers to the Aquabase Support and Development Programme. If Aquabase cannot download the update automatically you can also get it from the Download section of this website. You have to be a registered user to access the individual downloads in this section.
Please read the notes during installation for the latest exciting additions and bug fixes! We (the developers and the users) are constantly working on improving and fixing Aquabase functionality. Please let me know if you find any bugs and/or would like to make suggestions for new functions.
WHAT’S NEW IN THIS LATEST VERSION?
- For workspaces with country South Africa the URLs for the automatic cadastral services to insert farm numbers and names can now be selected under the “Edit” menu, as these may not always be available (offline). At this stage there are two URLs and more may be added in future. These services may also be made available for other countries and users are encouraged to inform the developers on their existence.
- More countries have been added to the option of automatically inserting cadastral information into some of the Basic Information fields. For this function to work the querying of WMS layers has been implemented and therefore will only work with active Internet connection.
WHAT HAS BEEN FIXED SINCE THE LAST VERSION?
- The resizing of the Pumping Test Import form did not work as expected. The height of the form can now be increased or decreased within constraints (minimum height). The width cannot be increased or decreased due to the required size of columns.
- The time-dependent chemistry report still did not print correct detection limits with summary values. This should be working now.
- The countries table had incorrect international names and some countries or islands of countries were missing. The table has been reworked and vacuumed, which made it a lot smaller.
- Some minor bugs, that are often unnoticed.
