The latest 9.0.1.405 update with a whole range of bug fixes and a few new functions is now available for download (Aquabase will check for an update on start-up) and will require a password to complete the update process. This password is included in an email to subscribers to the Aquabase Support and Development Programme. If Aquabase cannot download the update automatically you can also get it from the Download section of this website. You have to be a registered user to access the individual downloads in this section.
Please read the notes during installation for the latest exciting additions and bug fixes! We (the developers and the users) are constantly working on improving and fixing Aquabase functionality. Please let me know if you find any bugs and/or would like to make suggestions for new functions.
WHAT’S NEW IN THIS LATEST VERSION?
- The Import Pumping Test form has been reworked with easier-to-use date controls and some other changes for better integrity.
AND WHAT HAS BEEN FIXED?
- If a lithology code did not exist in the lookup table an error would be generated during log construction, which is now resolved: The non-existent code will be displayed instead of the “translated” version in the lookup table.
- The notes field, which was changed to a text field type earlier, suddenly appeared in the grids on several forms with that field. These now only show in the bigger notes field below the grid.
- When adding new sites an error could occur while setting the Region Description field to the previously used value, which made no sense. Although the site could be successfully stored the error was fixed to avoid other possible errors.
- A number of smaller mostly unnoticed bugs have been fixed.
