Please read the notes during installation for the latest exciting additions and bug fixes! We (the developers and the users) are constantly working on improving and fixing Aquabase functionality. Please let me know if you find any bugs and/or would like to make suggestions for new functions.

SO WHAT’S NEW IN THIS LATEST VERSION?

  1. The Time-dependent Depth Columnar Report has been implemented. The report lists the depths and collars entered into the “Hole Finish” entry form as these two parameters can change over time. The dates entered are either the date constructed or the dates when either the collar height or depth changes.

WHAT HAS BEEN FIXED SINCE THE LAST VERSION?

  1. The Views returned in the “Select View” or “Manage Views” dialogs sometimes returned also Views which are not valid Aquabase Views, which could lead to unexpected results when viewing datasets within those Views. Valid Aquabase Views must have at least the SITE_ID_NR field and in their definition SQL have the “DISTINCT” or “BASICINF” key words (remember this if you create Views outside of Aquabase). This is now fixed.
  2. A floating point error could occur under certain coordinate system settings when calculating the Longitude/Latitude fields in the Basicinf table. This is now fixed.
  3. A few smaller bug fixes and optimisations here and there.
