Please read the notes during installation for the latest exciting additions and bug fixes! We (the developers and the users) are constantly working on improving and fixing Aquabase functionality. Please let me know if you find any bugs and/or would like to make suggestions for new functions.

WHAT’S NEW IN THIS LATEST VERSION?

  1. Gravimetry profiling has been added to the geophysical profiling methods. The new tables will only become available after a database update of SpatiaLite/Geopackage databases.
  2. A new version of Spatialite/Geopackage databases is available for the upgrade of these databases in the workspaces. The update is not critical, but delivers new tables and some optimisations; so an update is recommended.
  3. A new minor improvement has been added to the Pumping Test Import form in the grid: when pressing ENTER (return) the current record will be saved and the input cursor positioned to the new line in the marked column, if a column is marked, otherwise to the first input column.
  4. A few more fields have been added to the Name Owner table to accommodate more telephone numbers and a contact person in case of a company owner. These fields will be automatically added if they don’t exist in your database.
  5. Time-dependent charts for “Other” parameters (chem_006 table) under chemistry have been improved with actual parameter names and related measurement units for selection in the chart setup and the chart axis showing the correct parameters and units.

AND WHAT HAS BEEN FIXED?

  1. Some SpatiaLite/Geopackage database triggers have been fixed/updated again to accommodate new GIS features.
  2. The Pumping Test Import form has been reworked to be more user-friendly as some functions did not work as expected when navigating between input fields.
  3. Some fields with zero (0) values on some reports showed 0.00000 which was changed to 0.00.
  4. A few smaller bugs have been fixed.
