View names should be as descriptive as possible so that one can identify easily what the view is supposed to show. Although you can give any name to the view Aquabase will only allow small letters and numbers and the “_”. The first letter may also not be a number and therefore Aquabase will change the number to “View_” and append the view name. This prevents errors when working with the views, especially when executing SQL statements.
The user may also determine whether this view should be available to other users or not by checking the checkbox below the name field. This is only enabled for non-SQLite databases. SQLite databases make the view available to anybody by default.
