Very often it makes sense to import data into Aquabase, especially if the datasets are large and typing them over would take a long time and can cause typing errors.
While the import of pumping test data is not strictly an import all other import functions add data to the database in batch processes.
While the import of Aquabase workspaces (new or old) is pretty straight forward the import of other tables requires some thinking and prepartion of the tables to be imported.
Data from any of the tables, even joined tables, can be exported to a number of formats using the SQL Query tool. Some knowledge of SQL is required to successfully write queries to extract data from the tables.
